Meet the Team
Co-Founder
Carissa, C.E.T, MBA
Carissa is the heart and soul of the Squad Team!
Based in Okotoks, AB, Carissa’s passion for creating meaningful connections and building a strong, caring team is the foundation of everything we do. Her warmth, creativity, and vision shine through in every aspect of Squad.
With a lifelong passion for construction, Carissa's professional experience in the industry began in 2005. Over the years, she tackled all kinds of construction jobs from single family residential, to high rise condo buildings, to commercial developments, to industrial facilities... and flipped a few houses with David along the way.
She also takes pride in giving back to the community by serving on not-for-profit boards of directors, volunteering, promoting other small businesses, and has acted as an arbitrator for municipal development appeals.
When she’s not busy leading the team, Carissa loves traveling to new destinations, passionately defends pineapple on pizza, and is always up for sharing the hilarious story of how she fell off a mountain. (Don’t ask her to make Jell-O, though—it’s still a work in progress!)
Carissa’s ability to balance fun, family, and focus makes her a true inspiration to the Squad Team. We’re so lucky to have her at the helm, helping us bring our mission to life every day.

David, HBBA
David is the practical mastermind behind the Squad Team!
Living near Calgary, AB, David brings unparalleled expertise in home maintenance to Squad. His knack for problem-solving and passion for preventative care make him the go-to guy for all things home-related.
His education as an Architectural Technician kicked off his career, then with his background working in home warranties, David has seen it all! Having also owned, renovated, and sold numerous houses, he sure knows what to take care of.
David is constantly seeking and coming up with solutions for home maintenance issues, aiming to streamline the home ownership experience and give homeowners back the time and money to enjoy their lives!
Outside of work, David is always chasing the next adventure—whether it’s cheering at the Monaco Grand Prix, building a working pool in his backyard, or finding peace on the hiking trails of Kananaskis. (Ask him about his honeymoon in Belize if you want to hear some wild stories about giant grasshoppers!)
David’s hands-on experience and dedication to preserving home value make him an invaluable part of the Squad Team. His drive to help others live their best lives inspires us all every day.
